Thanks for visiting this web site where Stephen Morrill displays portions of the Sorcet Chronicles fantasy novels. I'm starting with the "Stones" books, five books in total, featuring Sorcet (of course) and as seen through the eyes of Tachi Green Fujiwara, an Earth Human accidentally transported into the strange and sometimes violent world of Tessene. Who is the titular Sorcet? You have to read to find out, as well as why Tachi would be willing to serve as her taidar, a thankless and almost-certainly fatal mission. |

Species |
There are three intelligent species on Tessene: the Humans, the Droichen and the Sylphen. (Some scholars think the Stingers may be intelligent, or at least have some kind of hive-mind. Most people think they're just big ants. |
